Roxfit Book Case for Xperia Z4 Tablet - Black / Orange

Unfortunately, there is not a lot of choice when it comes to accessories for the fine Sony Xperia Z4 tablet. The dedicated Sony keyboard is not great and the availability of alternatives is not so good either. The same is true for cases. The dominance of Apple and Samsung tablets in the marketplace can surely be felt. The available options (and Sony's own case isn't readily available) are not particularly attractive, in the sense of either appearance or function. With the above in mind, the Roxfit Book Case for the Xperia Z4 Tablet is probably amongst the best of a not so good lot. That said, the case has a number of limitations, including: 1. although the tablet fits snugly in the plastic cradle that holds it, the plastic is quite brittle, prone to cracking, and the fit is just too snug. Not a problem if you do not plan to remove the tablet; 2. Although reasonably well made, like most such products, Roxfit's offer doesn't seem built to last (that plastic cradle again); 3. Most troubling, the tablet doesn't really stand up all that well, in any of the 3 possible positions, when using the tablet as a screen, for example with a keyboard; 4. PU leather is, well, PU leather. From a small distance it is okay, but close up its unsatisfying material qualities become inescapable. However, the main reason I stopped using the case was its lack of stability when used as a stand to position the tablet as a screen when typing or watching videos, and so on. In the final analysis, given the limited available options, the case is probably suitable enough, especially if you can get it for 1/2 price.

A very nice case like the Roxfits of old. A proper fitted shell holds the tablet unlike that 3M tape nonsense of recent times. Much heavier than the genuine Sony case and so feels more protective. This case does not support auto wake/sleep, shame. I paid £9.95 so an absolute bargain.
