Fits the iPhone 6 - just barely!
Have become addicted to running with this guy while I'm training for a marathon. Doc told me not to do anything longer than 10 miles without bringing water, but I've used this on much shorter distances since buying it.It DOES fit the iPhone 6 without a case, but it's a tight squeeze - takes me a minute to get it in and out since the friction between the phone's glass and the plastic viewing pane is considerable, and it's a tight fit to close the zipper, but it's fine. The touchscreen responsiveness is actually great. The bottom of the iPhone 6's screen is covered by the black panel, but you can actually press or swipe the opaque bottom of the panel and it's still responsive (e.g. to swipe "end this run" on the Nike+ running app), or to use the spacebar while texting). This wasn't a problem on the 5 - full screen showed. I do turn the phone's auto lock off before I go for a run, and I'm sure the finger reader wouldn't work, although I haven't tried it.The 6 plus for sure will not fit. The 5/5S fit comfortably, including with a thin case. Compartment easily fits granola bar, keys, ID, etc. but it's not uncomfortable to run without the pack being full.Minor complaints/warnings (note that I'm still giving a 5 star review!): DON'T freeze this - I eventually had some cracking around the threads at the mouth of the bottle part after putting it in the freezer. Amazon was super nice about it and send me a new one.I don't hold this the way the instructions say to, with my thumb through the hole on the back of the strap where it meets the bottle. Instead I wrap my thumb around the top strap, like holding a beer can, with my thumb pointing the opposite direction from my fingers instead of pointed parallel. I find this to be steadier and more comfortable. Also, the strap to tighten the hand part could be grippier. It's easy to release but slips a tiny bit. Not enough to be annoying. The reflective tape attached to the strap is peeling off a bit where it meets the catch piece, but once I realized that this doesn't actually affect the longevity of the strap - just the reflective function, which is pretty minimal - this doesn't bother me anymore. The bottle is not insulated at all. Ice melts quickly - not surprising given all the agitation, not bothersome when any water feels like magic during a long run, but my hand is freezing if I start out with a lot of ice cubes in the bottle.I admit that I haven't tried any others, but I read a lot of reviews and am REALLY happy with this waterbottle. The idea of the belts seems miserable to me. Now that I'm used to running with it, it doesn't bother me at all, and I like not having to deal with tying shoelaces to my shoe, etc.Feel free to leave questions if you have any!

Allowed me to greatly increase the distances of my runs.
I like running with this hand-held quite a bit. I like taking small sips as I run, and this is usually enough water that I only need to plan to refill after 6 or 8 miles.I was afraid it would be annoying to have this much weight in my hand, but I barely think about it now. I sometimes go 3 or 4 miles before switching hands. It's helpful to have your phone visible to be able to use Nike+ Running or your preferred mapping/pedometer app, though sweat and glare sometimes make it hard to read the screen. The pouch is a good size. I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4s to 5s, and either size fits well, with its screen visible. Also room in the pouch for keys (I wrap my house key in a scrap of paper to keep it from bouncing around and scratching my phone) and a couple of packs of Pro Bar Bolt chews (bulkier than Gu or other gel packets).I DO NOT have my headphones plugged into my phone as I run. The ear bud hole is actually too small for the headphones I use. It's just barely large enough to thread through the cord of the headphones that came with my phone. Note that the hole is at the top, which is fine for an iPhone 4/4s but no good for a 5/5s. I'm not sure I'd be able to plug headphones into my 5s without putting the phone into the pouch upside down. The zipper can be a bit tough to operate one-handed as you run. Don't try to pull it closed with your mouth: the zipper pull has a funky bitter aftertaste.

Ideally- it's better than the previous model, but not perfect yet.
I have the previous version of this Nathan Hydration pack.Like:-clear plastic to utilize phone through-slightly larger pocket to separate phone from misc. things you would want to carry (but not too big so it's awkward) so you can pull things out without scratching your phone and/or you can pull out your phone without upsetting and dragging out everying you'be stuffed behind your phone.-thumb hole in back is a nice variation for carrying grip-the material is thicker and would probably offer some mild water resistance compared to my previous Nathan, but I doubt it's water proof-longer so it accomdates my iphone 5 better (I would just stretch and made the previous version accomodate my phone... however it probably explains why I don't have much room otherwise :)Dislike:-almost all standard earphones cannot fit through the designated hole-bottle is still not ideal- horribly leaky (replaced mine with Camel like another reviewer suggested and it's great)-after a month, the seams from my bottle came free from the adjustment strap at the point of connection, so during our long run I was left to have this bottle flopping around for another 8 mi. (thankfully Amazong is amazing and alleviated my issue). Part of the problem is in the new design, Nathan cannot sew down the grip to increase stability of the adjustment strap like they did with the previous model because there is not a thumbhole. Mine may have been an isolated issue however, because I bought the same bottle in purple/pink for my running partner and her bottle is having no issues. I ended up returning it for that issue and simply use my older Nathan model. Can't access my phone and music, but c'est la vie.
