Smith and Wesson Carabeamer Clip on White LED Flashlight

I received my first light as part of a package for another light that I was buying. At first I tossed it aside as something for the kids, more of a toy. However, when I went hunting with my kids this type of light was actually quite useful. I had each of my kids hook one of these on their belt loop, that way in the dark they could beacon me with the light if they needed help, (we were hunting only 200 yards apart so please don't mistake this light's actual brightness or range) I also have since hung them in areas where a little extra light is occasionally needed, but there is no good location for a flashlight. For example, I have one hung on the front of my boat trailer. I fish late into the night quite often, and when I park the boat it is hard to see the lock to remove the trailer. With this light hanging on the trailer I can quickly grab it and unlock the trailer without fumbling in the dark. And it is stolen off my trailer, or broken, it is not the end of the world since these lights are under $5. Not very bright, but very useful in the right situation.

I have been searching for a little light that I can attach to my dogs leash for when we go walking in the dark. This works great. It clips right on and I have no worries about losing it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the little on/off switch is a little difficult to operate but I am thrilled that it has a constant on, when stopping to pick up dog poo, you need a constant on and a lot of the small flashlights do NOT offer a constant on, so while I might struggle to get this little light turned back off when I am done, I am still thankful that I have the option to turn it on and off! All and All a very handy little light and the clip is durable and will not accidentally slip off the leash, like so many others I have tried!

I bought this because I wanted a light on key chain. As far as the light goes, it's very nice. Bright, well designed extremely convenient! However, the key chain itself is to small and the round light built inside made it oddly shaped. I found the size and shape to be difficult for clipping on my belt with all my keys (about 7). I ended up sending it back. Because the round light is on the larger side of the carabiner, my keys rested on the small side of it. This didn't work well because the strap (on my key ring) was to large (in width) for that side. Also the strap and belt loop were all pushed to one side, making it crowded and awkward. It just doesn't hang correctly on your belt loop. If they made it bigger and fixed the design flaw I would definitely have kept it. I really liked the light a lot! So, I will buy a tradition carabiner and a separate light to hang on it. Lastly, it's a stylish Smith and Wesson :) when friends ask about, being able to say "Ya it's a Smith and Wesson" was always a plus.

I bought this light to attach to a set of house keys for walking the dog at night. I wanted something that would let me see the door when we got back, as well as light the path a little while walking. I was dissappointed that the light is really hard to get to stay on, and even hard just to turn on. But it works ok as just a light attached to a set of keys - it is fine as a light that you want on for 10 seconds, but not for something to actually use multiple times per walk.

I really am happy with my choice. The light is very strong and it just seems like a very high quality item. I use it nearly everyday. It is so light & streamline I hardly notice it on my belt loop until I need it!

A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR KEY-CHAIN!! Has more than paid for itself within the first month!! Bought them for the whole family for Christmas!!

It is small and rugged, the led light bulb is not going to break easily and the button won't turn on in your pocket.I got this to replace one I had gotten at a gas station and it is exactly what I was looking for.

I clip this on my belt loop when I go into dark places like movie theaters. No, it's not a high powered flashlight but I didn't expect it to be. It does a great job for its size. I have more than one.
