Sturdy and easy to install.
Bought this to put up our outdoor audio equipment in the laundry room. If put together correcting it's very sturdy. I'm guessing people that had issues either didn't put in all 4 bolts or installed upside down. There are two bolts per half, there is no way it's coming down. I didn't use the wire channel because it's too hard to work on the system if we do. The top box is 17" wide. I knew it would hang over the edge, it still works great. I was much happier having metal shelves than the glass ones that might break.

2 Shelf DVD DVR VCR Wall Mount Bracket
I purchased these shelves to put my xbox ,ps4 , and a bunch more cables ,and these shelves hold with no problem , they metal so no problem of breaking them if you drop them ,the xbox fits perfect ,however the ps4 being so much bigger than the xbox would extend about and inch or so more , but apart from that they were easy to install and at a great price ,

Great Price Nice Product
I have a pasasonic DMP-BD30K blu ray player. if you're familiar with the model it has a nice thin profile, however it is very wide and deep. I originally bought a nice floating shelf, about 7 inches deep, with the hdmi and power cables in the back, it was a no go. The wall anchors pulled out and the shelf tilted after one month. So I went on Amazon and settled on this item, I'm very satisfied. It is a sturdy mount, it will hold least 10 - 15 lbs. The nicest thing about the unit is the ability to adjust the shelf depth and the width. This is a fantastic idea. I currently have my blu ray player sticking out sideways from the wall, the shelf adjusted perfectly for the unit and supports it wonderfully. The design and look matches my wall mounted Sony flat screen, it would match most any tv on the market. I'm very satisfied and would def recommend to anyone in the market for a nice shelf to compliment your wall mounted tv.

Works well for our needs, but not for everyone
Recently moved our router. Installed this shelf about 6 ft high in the corner of the living room. The shelf was easy to install. Once I had all the necessary tools and parts ready, installing the shelf took about 45 minutes. The shelf looks nice, is very stable, and has a good size to it for small to medium sized electronic equipment. The edges of the shelf are metal and a bit on the sharp side. Mount it high and in a less traveled place in the house to reduce the likelihood of someone (especially children) bumping into it. The only other drawback is that it’s fairly difficult to remove the cable covers after they’ve latched into place. The manufacturer could have made this a bit easier to do, but for our purposes, it’s fine. I don’t plan on rerouting cables or moving our router anytime soon.

Great Shelving, But No True Wire Concealment
I swear by these. I bought three, I plan on buying at least two more sets. You can’t go wrong with the value. They are perfect, BUT with a glaring flaw: They do not conceal wires. THEY DO NOT CONCEAL WIRES!! That being said, they work exactly how you need them to work. They include everything you need for a good mount. Bolts, anchors, screws, etc., and the shelves and brackets are designed to accommodate 20 lbs. each. If studs are not an option for you, toggle bolts work perfectly, just make sure you use washers. I solved the wire concealment issue by drilling a 1” hole into the plastic covers, near the base of the shelf. Use a hole saw, and drill slowly - SLOWLY!!! That way you can feed your wires (HDMI, power, etc.) through for true wire concealment. Worked out beautifully! Perhaps the manufacturer will consider designing the covers with 1” diameter “punch outs”. That would solve the issue, and then these would be perfect! I highly recommend this item. Read the directions carefully, and you’ll be fine and impressed.

Awesome Component Shelf, Awesome Price!
I'm beyond happy with this purchase! The shelf is sturdy, manages the cords and cables from our devices (behind the plastic covers), and it really doesn't stand out too much once it has everything loaded on to it. The price simply cannot be beat. If you were to purchase a similar product at Best Buy or another electronics retailer, you would easily spend double or triple the price, maybe more. I paired this item with the VideoSecu ML531BE TV Wall Mount (a fully dynamic wall mount) also purchased from Amazon. They go great together. If you're looking for a reliable, affordable component shelf, you've found it here! Installation tip: Ensure you have a reliable stud finder, and mark your drill bit with a pencil or a piece of electrical tape so you know how far to drill your pilot hole into the stud...drilling too far could cause instability, drilling too short makes mounting the wall plates difficult to impossible. I used a ratchet with corresponding socket to tighten the bolts when mounting.

Well, mixed feelings - with fix-it solution
Bought same item on AMZN 5 yrs. ago. Simple install, sturdy, satisfies the need. Fast FWD: this item required some adjustment to the Wall Mount pieces. The Wall Mounts, ever so slightly, didn’t allow the Racks to fit into place. Fortunately, I sniffed this out PRIOR to installing them to the wall, per “Instructions”. As a solution, because it’s just cheap Chinese pot-metal, I rounded off each corner bit by bit until they slid in place (do whichever heights you choose to install the Rack to the wall-mount) with a mini-file. I also left the screws “Rack to Mount” with some play so that I could level them, then tighten PRIOR to mounting to my Wall. The vendor should’ve included lock-washers too, so customers don’t inadvertently strip the screw-heads off while tightening and create the need for a Tap & Thread fix.
