Screen Protector for HTC One Remix Screen Protector (One Mini 2) Case Friendly Accessories Flexible Full Coverage Clear TPU Film

My first attempt at installing the film was hasty and resulted in bubbles and an adhesive residue from the 2 peel-off tabs. I thought I had done something wrong, so I put the package away in my desk and forgot about it for a while. Today, I decided to have another go at it. I cleaned the screen thoroughly with the provided micro fiber cloth. There was not a single dust mote or smudge. I carefully aligned the top edge of the film to the top edge of the screen, applying it firmly with a sturdy piece of plastic while carefully peeling back the liner using tab 1 and taking care not to touch the sticky side of the film. The little piece of included cardboard labelled "installation card" was far too flimsy to be of use in smoothing down the film. By the time I got to the bottom of the film, I discovered that it was slightly too long for the screen of the HTC One Remix, so it spills over onto the silver case and doesn't properly adhere to the glass on that edge. There is a line of bubbles at the bottom of the screen and no amount of rubbing or pressing will make them go away. Then I tried to pull off tab 2 as directed, which caused the film to pull away from the top of the screen, allowing bubbles to form. Additionally, tab 2 left behind an unsightly smear of adhesive which I had to rub vigorously with a microfiber cloth to eradicate. Now I have bubbles at the top, bubbles at the bottom and micro-scratches all over the film! It's just a matter of time before I peel the darn thing off and throw it away. On the plus side, the film does not seem to impair the touch sensitivity of the display.If I have a better experience with the 3rd film in the package, I will update my review. The quality control problems extend to the packaging as well. The product image clearly shows the description (3 Pack), and indeed I received 3 films; however the package says: "Package includes: 2 precision cut screen films...." You can't use the outer plastic bag to store the extra films, since it tears easily and is only slightly larger than the contents, making it impossible to slide the contents back in for safekeeping. Additionally, I note in the description the phrase "Military-Grade w/ Lifetime Warranty". If the film has a lifetime warranty, why do they need to provide 3? The Product Description says: "BONUS for Amazon Buyers: With your purchase, we will include a LIFETIME WARRANTY voucher for film replacements for as long as you need it for your device." However, the inventory status says: "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." So much for your lifetime warranty...

PROS: One of the thickest screen protectors I've come across Negligible, if any, loss of screen touch sensitivity Extremely clear, with no loss of screen brightness, color or clarity One of the easier protectors to install and remove bubbles (also see cons) Certificate to receive lifetime replacements (also see cons)CONS: The corners are square, instead of being even slightly rounded, allowing them to easily lift up. Out of the package does not fit my Remix. When checking before installation I realized that they were slightly longer than the screen, overlapping onto (but not obstructing) the speakers. I thought that would be advantageous - less likely to catch the edge when swiping the screen. However, the protector does not stick to the metal causing me to have rehandle and trim during installation. Prechecked the width and it appeared to be correct, but actually was too wide overlapping the lip around the screen and not sticking; more rehandling and trimming. All areas that had to be rehandled lifted up and won't adhere. I have pretrimmed the second one, but have not installed it yet to see how it works out. No (replacement) certificate came with the package. When I contacted the seller, instead of providing one, I was informed that they had a record of the transaction and there wouldn't be any problem getting replacements (we'll see how that works out, maybe they figure I'll get so fed up having to make them fit that I'll give up and order from someplace else).After the fact (unfortunately) I checked out HTC's website and found out that the Remix, Mini etc. do not have the same dimensions. Why they would do that is beyond me, but it makes it inevitable that these one size fits all, won't.

As the other reviewers have said: I got this for my HTC one remix and the protector is just a tad too big. It still is good enough where it does protect my phone. Very tricky to not get lint on it. Satisfied with the price I paid for this item. It works, just wish it was an exact fit. Seller did ship it way before it said it was due. They get an extra star for fast handling.

The Rino Gear screen protector fits the phone precisely and is crystal clear when applied. I never seem to have much luck applying these types of screen protectors, but this one had better results than a few others I have tried. Just one minor annoying bubble. No static electricity and prints wipe off easily.

I'd say they're pretty good quality for being as cheap as they are, but honestly screen protectors are something that I believe should be cheaped out on but this time I did it anyway. Not that I'm not happy with their performance, my screen is still super responsive and is safe from cracks and nicks but the screen protector really absorbs them and it's been about 3 months with the one I have on right now and looks like I'm gonna have to put on my second one from the wear and tear on this one.

I don't know why John had so much trouble putting the thing on the phone. I'm a construction worker who has no experience putting screen protectors on. But I followed instructions provided with the product and a half an hour later I couldn't even tell there was a screen protector on my phone. It's been almost a week now and it still looks like a brand new screen, absolutely NO bubbles or dust particles whatsoever. Best screen protector I've ever had! I will recommend this product to anyone and everyone. Just FOLLOW DIRECTIONS and you'll be as happy as I am with this screen protector.

Not what I expected, the idea of placing a wet film onto my phone is very unsettling to me, I was looking for a full water, dust and shock proof case for my HTC One Remix and thought this screen protector would help until I found what I really want. Has anyone had water damage to their phone from these shields? And by the way can anyone direct me to a case for my phone ????? I hike, kayak and want something to protect my phone.
