Sunfood - Vanilla Powder -- 8 oz

My GF loves this stuff and talked me into ordering it. I got the package and opened it and it smells absolutely fantastic. It is very strong so although it is expensive, you do not need to put much in your cooking. It is much better than the liquid vanilla that contains alcohol. I use this in almond milk with some cinnamon and dates. It is also nice to put a tablespoon in my smoothies, such as cherry-vanilla. It enhances whatever it is I am making. I haven't tried any other brands but I don't think I will very happy with this product. I am excited to learn more recipes that contain vanilla and if anyone has suggestions, please share.

I thought this product was a little expensive but the taste is good. I would recommend just follow directions and don't use too much...can be overpowering. I would have given five stars if the price were a bit lower.

I just assumed with all the raw/vegan/sustainably grown hype that it would also be free of allergens. Unfortunately, it is packaged on equipment containing ALL allergens (dairy, wheat, soy, peanuts & tree nuts!) Seems a shame to have such a quality product be handled so carelessly. Also, NO RETURNS from this seller...so I guess the dogs will have vanilla added to their food for awhile! For those interested, the Bakto brand ground vanilla is specifically gluten & allergen free (not raw though).

Very good quality vanilla...awesome flavor. I love it! This is a lot of vanilla... A little goes a long way. So now I will need to find all the ways I can incorporate this into my daily food preps so I can used it up. I keep it in the refrigerator to give me time to find ways to use it up before its freshness expires

This is the first time I've used raw vanilla powder so I have no basis for comparison with other brands. I have used it in a number of different recipes including smoothies and find it has great vanilla flavor.

I love this product and I am planning on ordering more soon. I have always used only liquid Vanilla,but now I will keep the powder vanilla in my pantry. I used this powder vanilla in my pancake recipe and they are fabulous. Great stuff !

This was exactly what I expected it to be: powdered vanilla and nothing else: no fillers, no additives, no extenders. And it smells wonderful when you open the bag!

It's alcohol-free vanilla and it doesn't add extra liquid. Love it! Comes in a self sealing "zip-loc" type bag that keeps it fresh a long time.
